Magician and Family Entertainer - Kyle Groves

 Kyle Groves' journey into the captivating world of magic commenced from the very moment of his birth, born into a family deeply entrenched in the art of illusion. Guided by his illustrious parents, the renowned magicians affectionately known as "Mr. E" and Kathleen, Kyle's initiation into magic began in  his earliest years. From his tender beginnings, Kyle was immersed in every facet of the family business,  absorbing the arcane secrets of the trade from his father and mother. 

 By the remarkable age of eight, Kyle had already become an indispensable component of the family's  magical performances. From setting up and dismantling his father's shows to orchestrating lighting and  music cues, Kyle displayed an innate talent and passion for enchantment. Alongside his sister, Maggi, and  his mother, Kyle graced the stage as an assistant, mesmerizing audiences across the Northwestern United States. 

 In 1979, the Groves family embarked on a pivotal journey, relocating to Pueblo, CO, where their magical odyssey continued to flourish. With an unwavering commitment to their craft, they embarked on a tireless schedule, delivering over 400 enchanting shows annually throughout the United States and beyond. Their performances enthralled audiences in 45 states, 7 Canadian provinces, and 8 foreign countries, leaving an indelible mark on the world of magic.  

In 1999, Kyle and his family ventured into entrepreneurship, opening the esteemed "Mr. E" Magic Shop  in Pueblo. Swiftly becoming synonymous with the ultimate birthday party experience in the area, the establishment captivated young and old alike with its enchanting offerings.  

In 2004, Kyle embarked on a solo venture as the resident magician at the iconic Royal Gorge Bridge in Canon City, further  solidifying his reputation as a master illusionist. The following  year, the Groves family set their sights on Atlanta, Georgia,  where they continued to dazzle audiences across the Southeastern United States with their mesmerizing performances. 

Kyle's exceptional talents were duly recognized in 2008 when  he was bestowed the title of Illusionist of the Year by the esteemed Family Entertainers of Atlanta. Additionally, he was  honored with the distinguished title of Doctor of Magic by The  International Magicians Society, a testament to his unparalleled  skill and dedication to the art form.  

Returning to his roots in Pueblo in 2010, Kyle embarked on a  mission to uphold the family legacy by transforming "Mr. E"  Magic Shop into The Party People and Theater of Mystery.       Under his guidance, the establishment not only became known  as the area's #1 birthday party spot but also evolved into a hub for family-friendly immersive Murder Mystery Dinners and The  Houdini Lounge.  

Through Kyle's vision and dedication, The Party People and Theater of Mystery garnered numerous accolades from local chambers of commerce and arts organizations, cementing its status as a cornerstone of the community. Families and visitors alike flocked to experience the magic and mystery  offered at this unique venue, creating cherished memories and unforgettable moments for all who  stepped through its doors. 

Today, while "Mr. E" and Kathleen have gracefully retired from the limelight, Kyle remains steadfast in his commitment to spreading wonder and joy through his magical performances. From enchanting birthday parties to captivating public shows and engaging summer reading programs spanning six states, Kyle continues to enthrall audiences of all ages with his mesmerizing illusions. 

In October of 2022, Kyle and his beloved wife Kendra embarked on a new adventure in Amarillo, Texas,  where they are dedicated to bringing magic to events of all kinds. Committed to ensuring the success of  every occasion, Kyle has undergone a thorough background check by the Texas Department of Public  Safety and is fully insured for peace of mind. 

Additionally, Kyle's passion for education and entertainment led him to serve as the President of The Board for  The Theater of Mystery, Corp., a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching children's lives through the  magic of theater. Though Kyle resigned from his position upon relocating to Amarillo, his legacy within the  organization remains a testament to his unwavering dedication to fostering creativity and imagination in young  minds. 

In addition to his illustrious career, Kyle has invented an alter ego known as "Disgo." Disgo is a lovable,  albeit not so bright, western-themed character who once worked alongside the famous Ole Doc EZee, the  conman and snake oil salesman. Wherever Disgo travels, he endeavors to recreate Doc's Miracle Elixir,  much to Doc's chagrin but to the delight of the audience. The Disgo Wild West Magic Show has become a  favorite of many fairs and festivals across the United States and is repeatedly asked back year after year.
