Magician and Family Entertainer - Kyle Groves

Kyle Groves’ journey into the world of magic began almost from birth, growing up in a family deeply rooted in the art of illusion. Guided by his parents — the renowned magicians known as “Mr. E” and Kathleen — Kyle was immersed in the traditions of live magic and theatre from his earliest years, learning firsthand the timeless art of audience connection, sleight of hand, and theatrical presentation. 

By the age of eight, Kyle had already become an important part of the family performances, helping with staging, lighting, music cues, and appearing onstage alongside his family throughout the Northwestern United States. Over the years, the Groves family would perform hundreds of shows annually across 45 states, 7 Canadian provinces, and 8 foreign countries, creating unforgettable experiences for audiences of all ages. 

In 1999, the family opened the famed “Mr. E” Magic Shop in Pueblo, Colorado, which quickly became known for bringing magic, wonder, and unforgettable birthday experiences to the community. 

In 2004, Kyle became the resident magician at the world-famous Royal Gorge Bridge in Canon City, Colorado, performing countless live shows while continuing to refine his theatrical style and stage presence. 

The following year, Kyle and his family relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where they spent years entertaining audiences across the Southeastern United States with large-scale performances, theatrical productions, and touring shows. During this chapter of his career, Kyle was honored as Illusionist of the Year by the Family Entertainers of Atlanta in recognition of his outstanding contributions to live entertainment and magic. 

Kyle was also awarded the distinguished title of Doctor of Magic by the International Magicians Society — a recognition honoring his dedication, creativity, and lifelong commitment to the art of illusion. 

In 2010, Kyle returned to Pueblo and transformed the family business into The Party People and Theater of Mystery, a unique entertainment venue that became known for immersive theatrical experiences, family entertainment, murder mystery events, and unforgettable birthday celebrations. 

Today, Kyle and his wife Kendra are the creators of The Amarillo Magic Co., Amarillo’s intimate magic theatre experience. Since opening its doors, the theatre has welcomed guests not only from across Texas, but from across the United States and around the world — all drawn to the atmosphere, timeless magic, and unforgettable up-close experiences offered inside the intimate 25-seat theatre.

Inspired by the great magic masters of the past, Kyle’s performances blend classic sleight of hand, audience participation, storytelling, and clean comedy into a theatrical experience designed to create memories that last long after the curtain falls.
